This was the last thing the crew saw before the shuttle exploded upon reentry on February 1st, 2003.
The seven crew members lost that day were Rick D. Husband, William C. McCool, David Brown, Laurel Blair Salton Clark, Michael P. Anderson, Ilan Ramon, and Kalpana Chawla.
